Prepositions


Preposition is a word or group of words often placed before a noun or a pronoun to indicate place, direction, source, method etc.

 

A.    Uses of prepositions:

Simple future, future continuous, future perfect and future perfect continuous

 

Tense express the time of action and its degree of completeness. There are mainly three tense in English: Present, Past and Future. Every tense has four aspects: Simple, Continuous, Perfect and Perfect Continuous. There is no one to one correspondence between English and Nepali tenses.

Simple future

With the time adverbials:

Tomorrow, next, soon, tonight …

Future continuous

S + will be + V4 + O

To express an ongoing action at a certain point in the future…

Future perfect
