Will and be going to

 

When making a decision use will; use be going to after the decision has been made.

 

 

A. Look at these examples.

 

A: Gita is in hospital.

B: Oh, really? I’ll go and visit her.

A: Gita is in hospital.

B: Yes, I know. I’m going to visit her this evening.
